Canisius has decided to except the CBI bid and not the CIT. Likely to host a first round game.

Any further clue about William and Mary in CIT or CBI?

I don’t know anything more than pure speculation. Given William & Mary’s KenPom rank if they are in the CIT I would think they’d have a chance to host. It may be that the school is holding out to make sure it’s not invited to the NIT before accepting a bid to a smaller tournament.

Fresno State would make a great CBI team if they want to play. I don’t know how Mountain West teams feel about the tournament.
