Halfway through the second half in their November matchup versus Wagner, Coppin State had enough of Mario Moody. Within the span of five, maybe six minutes, the super athletic 6’7” forward had thrown down several Earth shattering dunks that brought the sparse Baltimore crowd to its feet. Even though it didn’t seem possible, each successive Moody dunk was more spectacular than the last. NEC Tournament Round Up: March 5
This is March! Thrilling comebacks, big upsets, the quarterfinals of the NEC men’s basketball tournament had it all on Wednesday night. Big Apple Buckets had writers in Emmitsburg, MD and Staten Island, NY but there was also game action in Rhode Island and out in Moon Township, PA. What a night!

NEC Roundup – March 1
It’s all over. The NEC regular season has come to a close. There was a bunch to play for today, as the middle seeds for the NEC tournament were undecided – including the key home court advantage in the quarterfinals. Now the field is set and Wednesday will give us four exciting playoff games.
