Assist Trends of NEC Point Guards

NEC fans might not realize it, but they’re quite spoiled this season. The league features some of the best point guard play in the entire nation. Jason Brickman leads the nation in assists at 10.0 per game, but other players like Julian Norfleet, Brent Jones and Sidney Sanders, Jr. aren’t too shabby either. Big Apple Buckets Weekly Awards: Feb. 3

Intra-city rivalries took center stage this week. The NEC was quite circular – St. Francis beat Wagner, Wagner beat LIU Brooklyn, while Iona grabbed the upper hand in its rivalry against Manhattan. Three Thoughts on Sacred Heart’s Struggles

This past August was only six months ago, but to Anthony Latina and his Sacred Heart Pioneers, last summer must feel like an eternity right about now. On August 21st, the new-look Pioneers had just completed a successful international trip to Canada where they ran, scored and executed an exciting new brand of basketball. NEC Roundup – January 30th

Robert Morris is desperately trying to sneak away from the pack. The Colonials got all the breaks they needed to take a commanding two-game lead in the conference and have all the other contenders fade away.
