NEC Roundup: Feb. 8

I’ve given in. Robert Morris is the best team in the NEC. I don’t care that they’re playing with eight players. They’re just that good right now. Bryant though is working hard to try and stay in shouting distance, just in case the Colonials slip up. The problem? The Bulldogs’ only two losses are to RMU. The rest of the league? What a mess. There are now three teams tied for third at 6-4 after another wild Saturday.

Assist Trends of NEC Point Guards

NEC fans might not realize it, but they’re quite spoiled this season. The league features some of the best point guard play in the entire nation. Jason Brickman leads the nation in assists at 10.0 per game, but other players like Julian Norfleet, Brent Jones and Sidney Sanders, Jr. aren’t too shabby either. NEC Roundup – January 30th

Robert Morris is desperately trying to sneak away from the pack. The Colonials got all the breaks they needed to take a commanding two-game lead in the conference and have all the other contenders fade away.
