Now that John Pudner has given us a look at why Low-Major Value Add can be a useful way of comparing players at that level I wanted to take a look at the all-conference teams according to the metric thus far this season. Fordham played smart, aggressive basketball down the stretch against Princeton and pulled out a 63-60 victory on Saturday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Festival on Saturday will feature three games at the Barclays Center. The first two will include schools from the New York City area, while the third is an ESPN2 showcase game between Michigan and West Virginia. Fordham and Princeton tip-off the action at 2:30 p.m. from Brooklyn.

The sky is not falling, the Ivy League isn’t terrible and the league champion isn’t heading to Dayton. There is no Q&A for tomorrow night’s game because well, LIU (0-4) and Columbia (4-2) are two teams we see a lot here on the site. The Blackbirds are still looking for their first win of the season and return to the Wellness Recreation and Athletics Center (WRAC) is exactly what the doctor ordered. Unfortunately, the opponent could be a little easier. Columbia has some good wins, and some odd losses, but the Lions certainly have the talent to make this game close. It’s a great local game. Here are some things to watch for.
