The season is merely two weeks old, yet we know far more about some teams then we did back in October. Informed prognostication certainly has its value, but the stark truth is no one – including most coaching staffs – knows how Team A will respond outside the confines of its practice court. It’s nearly impossible to predict how newcomers will adjust to a new environment.

McCollum, Ella Ellis, just to name a few greats – opening up opportunities for veterans to grab spots for the 2013-14 all-conference teams. This upcoming season, Big Apple Buckets looks to expand our mid-major basketball coverage to the Patriot League. With three schools now within a 40 minute drive of my home in Maryland, it would be foolish of me not to cover the league! I kept tabs last season, especially at nearby Navy and American, but our website wasn’t fully invested in what has turned into a solid mid-major basketball conference.
