Non-Conference Schedule Tracker Release

For the third consecutive season, NYC Buckets has been busily attempting to track down non-conference games of all the teams and leagues we cover.

The current status of that work is contained in the non-conference schedule tracker, which this season we’re releasing as a Google Spreadsheet.

The first tab is every game we currently have knowledge of from a well-respected source (most likely a journalist’s tweet, but also some digging from NYC Buckets writers and others). On the other tabs you can find all of the games organized by league. The teams in the “Others” category are: Fordham, Hofstra, NJIT, Rutgers, Seton Hall and St. John’s.

Some trends are already emerging. Mount St. Mary’s will once again play a difficult schedule, including at Marquette, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame. Sacred Heart has also scheduled up this season, with games at Boston College, Northwestern and Providence.

Over in the MAAC Iona appears to be putting together a competitive schedule, including the Bahamas Showcase, which will include Vermont, Bradley, Duquesne, Weber St., Coastal Carolina, Northern Kentucky and UTSA, according to Josh Thomson of lohud.com.
