Three Thoughts on St. Francis Brooklyn’s Loss to Columbia
St. Francis Brooklyn had an opportunity to do something no NEC has ever done on Saturday against Columbia: Win 10 non-conference games. No matter how you look at it the Terriers have had a successful non-conference. They’ve gotten some excellent victories, including beating Miami (FL) and Stony Brook on the road, and showed that they can play with any team in the country. Coming & Going St. Francis – Replacing stars
St. Francis (NY) and Glenn Braica have one of the toughest challenges in college basketball this season – to replace two senior stars. The loss of Ricky Cadell and Akeem Bennett off a team that went 15-15 a season ago leaves a big hole in the roster. While Dre Calloway and Akeem Johnson should get the first cracks at replacing the two stars, there is a big recruiting class coming in to help as well.
