Video Recap: Monmouth 93, Niagara 75

Monmouth clinched the MAAC regular season title and achieved its best start ever with a 93-75 victory over Niagara at the OceanFirst Bank Center in West Long Branch, NJ on Thursday night. Justin Robinson scored 27 points to lead the Hawks, while Je’lon Hornbeak added 16. The Hawks are now 23-5 (15-2 in MAAC). Here’s the video recap. MAAC 2016-17 Season Preview: All-MAAC Teams

Only five of the 16 players named to the All-MAAC teams at the end of last season will not make a return to the court. With┬áplenty of young talent yet to reach their full potential, along with some fresh new faces by way of recruits and transfers, and there is sure to be a fight to secure those limited all-conference spots come March.
