Friday night offered an opportunity for Columbia and Manhattan to both get road wins and get back on track. Tempo-free MAAC: Niagara Reigns Supreme

There’s still no huge favorite in the MAAC, but Niagara is starting to look like a better and better one. The Purple Eagles blew out Siena last weekend and now have an efficiency margin of +0.12 in MAAC play. That’s not dominant by any means (14-4 projected record or so), but by far the best right now. Columbia Wins At Cornell

There are 154 college basketball games today, which is awesome. The tricky part is that most of the New York schools played on the road this afternoon. Later I’ll have a full recap of the LIU Brooklyn – Monmouth game and cover the entire day in NEC basketball, but here are three other tough road games local teams faced today.

Wagner, Manhattan and LIU On The Road Tonight

There are 64 games on the college basketball docket tonight, including eight that involve Top 25 teams. It’s a busy night for sure and it includes four New York City teams, three of which will be on the road, plus a number of other intriguing mid-major games.
