ALBANY — Third seeded Siena got 22 points and 16 rebounds from Brett Bisping to help them reach the MAAC tournament semifinals with a 89-76 victory over Manhattan.
Jimmy Patsos’ Saints advance to play Iona on Sunday night for a chance to reach the MAAC championship game for the first time since 2010.
Manhattan’s streak of MAAC championships ends at two, but they were led by Rich Williams who scored a game-high 26 points. The 6’5″ junior was one point short of his career-high in the effort.
