This Week in America East GIFs Dec. 1

The America East beat teams from Conference USA, the Northeast Conference, the Patriot League and Ivy League over the past week. Hartford, UMass Lowell and Stony Brook are all off to a 5-2 start to the season. Here is a look back on some of the best plays of the week, in GIF form.

Vermont went 1-1 on the week, which included a 73-47 dispatching of Bryant on Wednesday, where Dre Wills scored a team-high 14 points and dished out this slick assist to junior Ethan O’Day.

Albany went 1-1 on the week as well, as they pulled out a tough win at Colgate prior to the Thanksgiving break thanks to 18 points and 11 rebounds from Sam Rowley.

Zarko Valjarevic put Maine up in the second half at Northern Illinois, as they would be up by as many as 21 in the half, but a 28-2 run to close out the game denied the Black Bears their first win under head coach Bob Walsh.

New Hampshire won two straight non-conference games against Division I teams for the first time since the start of the 2010-11 season thanks to sophomore Daniel Dion’s clutch play with 3.6 seconds left.
