UMBC announced that junior Cody Joyce received a legislative relief waiver from the NCAA today and will be eligible to compete starting this season.

Joyce, a transfer from Houston Baptist, averaged 9.9 points per game and averaged 3.8 rebounds per game last season. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Head coach Aki Thomas confirmed in July that the school would seek a waiver for the 6’8″ junior who is returning close to home.
