Value Added from Cracked Sidewalks

I’m going to write more about this post from Marquette blog Cracked Sidewalks later in the week. But the most interesting thing I took from it is that are the returning New York area players that it claims could contribute to a BCS team next season. The full list is after the jump. Much more coming up.

In order to qualify for the list you would have to add at least 1.0% to a BCS team’s offense. These are the “stronger” returning players according to Value Added.

  • Brian Barbour, Columbia – 3.07%
  • Mark Cisco, Columbia – 1.09%
  • Mike Moore, Hofstra – 2.52%
  • David Imes, Hofstra – 1.31%
  • Michael Glover, Iona – 4.12%  (#23 in nation)
  • Kyle Smyth, Iona – 2.43%
  • Scott Machado, Iona – 1.58%
  • Jermel Jenkins, Iona – 1.17%
  • Sean Armand, Iona – 1.11%
  • Julian Boyd, Long Island – 2.07%
  • Jason Brickman, Long Island – 1.90%
  • Michael Culpo, Long Island – 1.45%
  • George Beamon, Manhattan – 1.52%
  • Travis Nichols, St. Francis (NY) – 1.16%
  • Akeem Johnson, St. Francis (NY) – 1.11%
  • Leonard Hayes, Stony Brook – 1.10%
  • Tyler Murray, Wagner – 1.67%
