It’s April and the NCAA Tournament is over. Thus everyone is scrambling to put together some ridiculous bracket so that they can grab the attention of fans still craving simple one-and-done eliminations.
At CollegeInsider.com they’re capitalizing on it by putting out the Runway to the Fashion 4 bracket. It’s even got a blog where Virginia Tech’s Seth Greenberg can be found spouting some insider knowledge. (At least his team made this bracket!)
The big news is that there are a couple NYC coaches in the field. Columbia’s Kyle Smith is a 12 seed, Fordham’s Tom Pecora is a 4 and NJIT’s Jim Engles is a scrappy 16 seed in the head coaches bracket.
Over on the assistants bracket you’ll find Kevin Terone of NJIT as a 16 and a battle between Iona’s third seeded Jared Grasso and Stony Brook’s 14 seed Lamar Chapman.
My predicted winner in the head coaches bracket is Steven Lavin of St. John’s – here’s hoping he gets better quickly, and Bacari Alexander of Michigan for the assistants.
